What's Going On: News In E111
Wow! I had a very busy week! We had 2 fieldtrips. On Monday we went to Madison and on Wednsday we went to Pual Bunnyon logging camp in Eau Claire!
About Madison:
We got to take a tour of the capital! We seen many beautiful rooms. Most of the capital is made interesting stones (mostly marble). There were many mosaics and stained glass. We visited the court room and we got to sit in the chairs! We learned a lot about what takes place in each of the rooms and seen many statues. In one of the stairs there was a fossil of a starfish. There were many marble pillars that looked outstanding. Even the bathrooms looked antique and were made from marble. After we were done with our tour we took a picture of everbody. Then we ate outside on the capital grounds.
About Eau Claire:
Yesterday we traveled to Eau Claire to visit the Paul Bunnyon Logging Camp. We got to eat old-fashioned ice-cream and then we got to see how people lived a long time ago and the changes in time. Then we seen exhibits of logging materials and the jobs. We went inside a life-size model of a logging camp. We seen the kitchen, bunks, and where the trainer slept. When we were done we went to the activity room and played different games. Next we seen a movie on farm-life and finally we went home.
So that's a wrap-up of everything we did so far this weekend. Enjoy the rest of the week!

My Weekend!
Hey EVerybody! I had a great weekend!
My uncle who lives in Texas came and
made a suprise visit. We all went out to
eat. Then my grandmother took me out
for icecream. Tomorrow I will be very
busy and I have ice-skating lessons so I
don't think I will blog at all. Have an awesome
rest of the weekend!

What's Going On: Over The Weekend
This weekend I went to my cousins house. A huge branch of of a tree hit her house and crashed a hole in the ceiling of her room. We helped pick up some twigs and clean out her garage. We took in cans and got money for them. Then we went to McDonalds for my cousins birthday party and I seen somebody in my class there. Than we all went to my cousins hosue after the party. Then I went shopping and by the time I got home I went to bed because it was so late. Since I was gone all day I didn't get a chance to write in my blog yesterday. Sorry! Now today is my grandmothers birthday and she will be coming over to our house.
So, that's how my weekend went. I hope you had some fun this weekend as well!

What's Going On: News In E111
Good afternoon everyone! Today in math we talked about how to divide a 1-digit number from a much larger number. We learned about DMSB:
Divide
Multiply
Subtract
Bring-Down
In Writing class we started learning about different kinds of adjectives and we have a packet on them. We finished our "regions in Wisconsin" unit and are now continuing to do our DOL paragraphs. In Science we tried to make circuits using wires, a light bulb, a battery, and another object. We wrote predictions (on/off) depending on whether we thought it would work or not. We are continuing to write our mystery stories due the 11th. Have an awesome weekend!
