Mr. Stoeckly got a new toy called Elmo. We tried it out and it was
awesome. Today we did more on our essay on the Eastern
Ridges and Lowlands in writing. In science we used batteries
and 2 long wires to try to light a normal sized lightbulb.
It didn't work but we saw a lot of sparks.
Have a great weekend!

What's Going On: News In E111

Today we played a game called "Snowball" in math. We wrote different
math problems on a piece of paper, crumpled it up, and had a snowball
(well, paper) fight! In writing class we started writing an essay on
"The Eastern Ridges and Lowlands" region in Wisconsin. In science
we are learning about electricity. We are using a battery, wire, and
a light bulb. We have to try to get the light bulb to light up connecting
the different objects.

More Figure-skating!

I can't wait for our big show on March 27! We started working on a new song called "The Work Song". It's really fun but we still aren't done practicing. We finished up Peppermint Twist. Oh, and now we are skating on Thursdays instead of Mondays and on Sundays so it's kind of getting a little mixed up. We just got pictures taken of us in our skating dresses. I can't wait to get them back so I can see them. Happy Tuesday!

Figure Skating

I have been in figure-skating for about a year and a half now. I take lessons most Mondays and sometimes Thursdays. I have
a show coming up soon. The theme is Cinderella.
I am in two parts. The part we are
working on right now is called "The Peppermint Twist!"
